How to build confidence when you don’t have any

How important is confidence?

Very.

It can change your life. Confidence gives you courage in times when you’re challenged. It gives you faith to take on challenges with the assurance that you will be successful.

Building Confidence

You must build confidence…DAILY!!!! It all starts with the littlest tasks such as making your bed in the morning, brushing your teeth, paying your bills and finishing projects and tasks at work. When you accomplish these tasks you are staying ahead and not behind. Over time, you will develop the courage to take on challenges with confidence in knowing that you will be successful.

Building confidence starts with YOU!!!

You are Responsible for Building Your Confidence

No one else is going to do it for you. Therefore, building confidence is a personal and daily task. I wasn’t born with confidence as most people aren’t. I wasn’t raised to be confident and I had to learn on my own. I’ve been competing in Weightlifting for 10 years and I still get scared competing on the platform. I still have fear but you would never know it. My training has prepared me to channel that fear into useful energy to lift heavy weights. The performance you see is deliberate and intentional. Not accidental.

#1 Fear is…

Public speaking. They say it’s the greatest fear. Greater than death. It takes tremendous confidence and courage to speak in front of an audience. Personally, I love public speaking and have been doing it for years. Thanks to my Toastmasters training I have the confidence and skills to speak in front of crowds and I look forward to it. If you don’t know what Toastmasters is look it up and most likely there will be a club in your town. Basically, it’s an organization that hold local club meetings oriented toward improving your communication and leadership skills through public speaking. It’s been around forever and is highly effective.

Build Daily Confidence

You must build confidence daily and it starts with you. Take on challenges and have the faith that you will overcome those obstacles in front of you.

Confidence can change your life!

Respectfully,

Josue Cano
